Storage medium holding up to 4.7 gigabytes of data, which can be video, audio and/or data.

 

Digital Video Disc

DVD-Video. As "Digital Versatile Disc", but primarily holding video, which can be played on a domestic DVD player or computer with DVD-ROM drive.

DVD 5

Replicated (pressed) rather than duplicated (burned) DVD. Single layer, single sided, will hold nearly 5 gigabytes of data.

 

DVD 9

Replicated (pressed) rather than duplicated (burned) DVD. dual layer, single sided, will hold over 9 gigabytes of data.

 

DVD 10

Replicated (pressed) rather than duplicated (burned) DVD. Single layer, double sided, will hold up to 4.7 gigabytes of data on each side. Users will have to turn the disc over to play the other side.

DVD-R

DVD-Recordable. A storage medium which can be written to once only. D2duplication will copy your master DVD-R onto high quality DVD-R media as many (or as few times) as you require.

 

DVD+R

DVD+Recordable. A rival format to DVD-R. D2duplication can accept your DVD+R master but, for greater compatability, will copy onto DVD-R media.

 

DVD-RW and DVD+RW

Rewritable versions of DVD-R / DVD+R.

 

DVD-RAM

Rival format to DVD-RW and DVD+RW. D2duplication are unable to accept DVD-RAM media..

 

DVD-ROM

Digital Versatile Disc Read Only Memory. DVD containing computer data.
